Nutritional Support for TB Patients

Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan : The National TB Programme was started in 1962 for TB Control in India. It was reviewed in 1992 and as a result DOTS strategy was adopted in our country (India). It was implemented in phased manner and whole country was covered by 24th, March, 2006 in about 700 districts under 36 STOs (State Tuberculosis Offices). The Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan has been envisioned to bring together all community, stake holders to support these patients.

The Concept of TB Mukt Bharat Programme launched by Govt. of India in September, 2022. We had distributed approx. 1,17,500 Nutritional kits to 23,500 T.B. Patients
